The main focus of the our research is the dynamic extension of the vocal spectrum (both singing and speaking) and stepping out of its habitual usage, in close connection to the body, breath and movement. Through individual and group improvisations and “vocal journeys”, we can activate our imagination, and stir the emotional level. Listening, as a door to empathy and self-discovery is as important as sounding.
The fundamental elements of our focus during theatre voice-workshops:
– Development of vocal potential
– Breathing and physical exercises to prepare the body to sing
– Seeking the dynamic source of sounds
– Theatrical and vocal improvisation
